A technology and training company, in one team.
Kanata Business Drivers builds the digital systems businesses run on, and trains the people who use them.
About us
We do both halves, because the halves keep failing separately.
A website nobody on staff can update becomes a liability within a year. A training program with no system behind it fades in a month. Businesses buy these from different suppliers and then own the gap between them.
Our team's background spans training and development, education, HRTech, SaaS, gaming, consulting and internet services, with projects delivered across North American, European and Asian markets. That mix is deliberate: the people who design your training can build the platform it runs on.
Leadership
Nancy Wheeler
Founder
“Most corporate training gets bought, delivered, and quietly forgotten. I started Kanata Business Drivers to do the opposite — build things people actually use, and build the technology that keeps them working long after the project ends.”
“That shapes how we work. We start from what your people need to do differently rather than a topic list, we use the tools that genuinely exist today, and we bring in specialists by domain instead of pretending to cover everything ourselves. Everything we build is meant to be handed over and run without us.”
How we work
Four commitments.
Understand first
We start with what has to change, not with what we would like to sell you.
Price it up front
A written scope with a number before work starts. No surprises mid-project.
Build alongside you
Your team is involved throughout, so nothing arrives as a black box.
Hand it over
Training and documentation so you can run it without us. No dependency by design.
What we believe
Three opinions we will not pretend not to have.
Most businesses buy tools when they need process
Software rarely fixes a problem that is really about undocumented process. We will say so even when selling you software would be easier.
Training without a system does not last
A workshop with nothing behind it fades within weeks. If there is no way to sustain it, the money is wasted.
Dependency is a business model, not a service
Plenty of suppliers make themselves impossible to leave. We would rather you could and chose not to.
